Abscond with Ethan Renoe

Have you ever opened up the Bible and tried to read it, but felt lost? Like there's all this language or references you don't understand? I never understood the entire Bible, Genesis to Revelation, until I understood covenants. Join Ethan in this multi-part series as we walk through all the covenants in the Bible, and by the end, have a richer understanding of the entire book.

Ethan sits down and blasts out a few updates, a Media Talk, and discusses something white people often have a hard time addressing: the prejudices and tendencies within our own hearts.

Becket Cook was living the high life in Los Angeles when Jesus ambushed him. Hear his story and a frank discussion on how Jesus interacts with homosexuality.

Dr. Christopher Yuan's new book, Holy Sexuality and the Gospel, was just released, so we discuss sexuality, same-sex attraction, and God's vision for humanity which is much bigger than our sexual desires!

Heads up: We discuss some sexual topics at a few points! Jake married his young sweetheart, and we discuss how that has affected him and what the wisest way to marry is, along with plenty of interesting rabbit trails!

Trigger Warning: We discuss some topics which may bring up memories or wounds from the past. Dave and I give some cursory foundation to discussing trauma and beginning to heal from it. We begin with spiritual trauma as well as some of the trauma of being viral overnight.
