Abu Huraira Center is a leading masjid in North York and across the GTA. It has 4 different Islamic schools that operate on the premises 7 days a week! We cannot function and continue our current operation because the school needs to expand in order to accommodate the ever-growing amount of students and families wishing to attend. The school has currently over 300 students on our waitlist and a school like this comes with needs including classrooms, staffing, and educational resources for the students. Please join us on Saturday, July 16th at 3:00PM at the Abu Huraira Center for the first-ever Islamic educational conference and fundraising dinner so all of us can collectively work on ensuring our children and youth have a space that brings a blessed change in their lives!

The Abu Huraira Center Academy is North York's premier Full-time Islamic School. We are committed to providing our pupils with a rich Islamic curriculum based on the Holy Qur’an, and authentic Sunnah. We also aim to provide a well-rounded academic experience using the standards provided by the Ontario Elementary Curriculum. Our welcoming learning environment is designed for children to flourish through exploration and hands-on experiences. We facilitate classes that support the individual learning style of each pupil, in order to allow them to learn, grow and thrive.

Moreover, our motto ‘Educate, Activate, and Illuminate’ symbolize the mission and vision of the Abu Huraira Center Academy. Educate and activate symbolize the twins of faith, Ilm and ‘Amal. The pursuit of knowledge and education are important fundamentals of the deen along with its implementation. We hope to emulate and inspire the students by encouraging action along with learning. Furthermore, we hope to illuminate our school, homes, and the community at large by using the knowledge gained to spread positive change.

The AHC Academy has expanded with new facilities for our growing school. We have established new state-of-the-art classrooms, which include collaborative and independent learning centers, libraries, play areas, along with technological classroom tools. Students are able to energize and refresh with our new athletic facilities including a fully equipped gym and playground!

It is our goal to create a welcoming, positive, and inclusive space for all students in order for them to grow and achieve their full potential. The next generation of Muslims will take their first steps here at the AHC Academy!
