There are four measurements of spiritual maturity that are listed in Ephesians 4. They are: 1. Doctrinal stability, 2. Relational Authenticity/We speak the truth in love 3. Full Participation in the Body of Christ, 4. Growing capacity for love.

Fasting is the self-imposed denial of physical desires in the pursuit of God. When we fast we replace the pursuit of physical things with the pursuit of spiritual things.
