With the ACCC handing down its report regarding the major supermarkets, questions are being asked about how customers and suppliers can be protected after they were cleared of price-gouging.

ACCC deputy chair Mick Keogh says the suppliers are at a "significant disadvantage" bargaining with the supermarkets.
