Anxious thoughts and feelings come from deep feelings of not feeling loved and accepted by those close to us. I know it hurts to feel unwanted or ignored.

Growing up we were taught that to get love we must be perfect or behave in a way that pleases others. Acceptance practice is all about learning to accept yourself. To free yourself from the obsessive feelings of wanting to be loved and accepted by others.

To realize you have flaws and its ok. To realize it is ok to be angry or upset at times. To accept that you have negative emotions and it is ok to have them. To realize that love comes from within you, and until you love and accept yourself you will not be able to overcome your anxiety.
