One of the biggest lessons I am learning about myself is that my mental illness has enabled me for years to live life in my own "TV reality" the Drama, the comedy.. believing that life could just wrap up into a resolution and redemption arc. Joined by my Friend and Guest Michael Venske, in this episode We chat about what it has been like to "snap back to reality" and learn to accept life and reality as it is....
Michael Venske is a creator/performer gravitating toward projects helping the greater good. He's toured the Midwest with "The (Alzheimer's) Remember Project" since 2015, twice crisscrossed America in an environmental sketch comedy show, and why for five years he taught CIT/de-escalation training to police officers (also how he broke his hand...in jail). When he’s not enthusiastically sharing his passion for whisky or kindness, he’s telling couple’s love stories as their wedding officiant.
