Jesus Never Said - “Everything will go according to your plans.” / “Life is going to be without rough patches.”

As much as we may want fortune and fame and truly believe we deserve nice things since we are "nice" people, Jesus never promises any of those for his followers. The prosperity gospel promises riches, fame and unlimited blessings in this world, but Jesus tells us if we want to follow Him we will experience a much different path.

We often write people off because of their past, their mistakes or their lifestyles. However, Jesus never did and he never said we should either.

What step can we take to begin to live as the New Creation God has called us to be?

We can begin to live as the new creations we are by recentering what really matters the most.

We are called to be new creations, so why dont we always look different?

How can we make a greater impact?

We are called to have faith, but what if my faith is imperfect?

What does a greater faith look like?

In order to accomplish the "greater" things that Jesus promised, we have to learn to learn desperate dependence on Him.
