As we celebrate our 7th Anniversary as Access Point Church, we take some time to look back at our history and where we have come from. We are also reminded of why our church began--our mission and our purpose! Ultimately, we desire to be a warm and welcoming church that invites outsiders to come and find a relationship with Christ. We pray this message encourages you to not only attend church, but to be the Church in your everyday life!

The Christmas story is not something that we merely move beyond after December 25th. Rather, it demands a response of faith--a life of surrender and a commitment to growing in godliness. In this passage, we learn how to faithfully follow Christ and live effectively for Him. We pray this message is an encouragement to you!

Often times, at Christmas, we focus only on the baby in the manger, while forgetting that He is also the Savior who bore the cross and rose again. As a result, we forget that this Jesus changed the world and also calls us to a transformed life. Jesus came to bring radical life transformation to his followers, yet we often claim Jesus as Savior and fail to follow Him as Lord. We pray that this Christmas, you will allow Jesus to transform your life!

As we begin this Christmas series, we take a look at Isaiah's prophecy of the coming Messiah--the Suffering Servant. We marvel that Jesus would come to earth and take on human flesh willingly, knowing that it would end in a horrific death--but He did this for us, that we could be set free from the power of sin and have our relationship with the Father restored. We pray this message helps to worship Jesus this Christmas season!

As we close out our series in the book of Hebrews, the author shows how all that He has told us to this point should affect the way we live. When we understand the sacrifice of Christ in our place and the grace we have been shown, we will desire to love strangers well and to point others to the Gospel in the way that we live and love! In this week's passage, the author compares the Christian life to a race. He issues a call to persevere, to resist sin and fix our eyes on Jesus. He shows us that Jesus has run the race--full of hardships, struggles, and shame--before us so that we can look to Him for the strength to persevere. We pray this message is an encouragement to you!

In this week's passage, we see a long list of people from a variety of backgrounds and with various personalities who all have one thing in common: faith. We learn from their example that faith is not a blind leap, but rather walking forward with confidence in the God who keeps His promises. We pray this message is an encouragement to you!

In this passage, we see that not only was Jesus the Great High Priest, but also the perfect sacrifice. Old Testament priests offered sacrifices that were only temporary, and thus, continual. However,  Jesus was the perfect sacrifice, paying the price for the sins of mankind once and for all. As we come to fully understand that our debt was paid in full by our Savior, we learn to live in the freedom that He has provided for us. We pray this message is an encouragement to you!

Just as babies transition from milk to solid food, Christians are expected to grow in the grace and knowledge of our Savior, moving from the basics of Christianity to the deeper things of God. This maturity takes effort and work, but as our knowledge of him grows, we are more eager to surrender to him and seek to please Him in the way that we live. We pray this message is an encouragement to you!

After making the point that Jesus is supreme in all things, the author now shows us that his supremacy does not create a barrier between us and Him, but rather He is the one who removes the barrier between us and God. The supreme One came to this earth in human flesh and endured all of the sufferings and temptations of this life without sin, died in our place, and now pleads our case before God. What a beautiful, glorious hope we have in Jesus!
