What do you stand for? I believe most of us can agree that we stand for love, compassion, equality, justice, peace and freedom. And we need safety! When we are faced with life and death situations like in the midst of pandemics, injustice and riots, we can lose connection with the ideals and inner states. Fears escalate, hormones rage, we get flooded with conflicting messages. Even if we remember what we stand for, it’s hard to know what to do. The body thinks it’s in survival mode and the mind becomes confused. When the rubber meets the road, when it’s time to put our values into action, when we need them the most, we have to make the extra effort to connect to inner wisdom and higher guidance. That’s what we’ll be doing in today’s Prayer & Healing Circle. We’ll connect to the inner – clear the mind space, settle the nervous system, access peace from within and tap into the inner guidance system.
