The Australian Physiotherapy Association (APA) has welcomed the release of a new Australian Institute of Health and Welfare report called Dementia in Australia.
The report was launched to mark Dementia Action Week and highlights the impact of the massive funding shortfall.
APA National President Scott Willis joins Michaela Carr who is filling in for Tod Johnston and he says people with dementia experience discrimination in the types of health care they receive and their physical needs are neglected as a result.
