Chris and Eric discuss some lessons learned and unique experiences they took away from their trips, how they apply to the every day grind and work, and the ultimate way to stay present and achieve what you want in this life.
Nuggets galore! Chris and Eric talk about having perspective shifts that will change your life completely, how labels are what is destroying our culture and masculinity, and how simple it is to get results if you follow this one, simple rule from us.
Of all the excuses known to man, one seems to be the most popular, and its not for the reason you might expect. Eric takes on this episode solo to talk to you about how you can maximize your opportunities and eliminate the most commonly used excuse in the book.
Men have a LOT on their plates. It's our duty to carry the load, but not (always) at our own expense. Chris and Eric talk about the reality of the cross we bear and what not to do when approaching someone on social media.
Regardless of how much you know or where you are at on your journey, do not be afraid to share you experiences and the work. Someone out there might need to see it, and you wouldn't even know it. Chris and Eric discuss the importance of sharing your journey and being happy for those doing it too.
Chris and Eric discuss what the real reward is from chasing the "carrot", what impression and energy you give off determines your value as a man and partner, and how cheating, one night stands, and giving in to temptation are determined and viewed.
Chris and Eric discuss an arduous run they completed on Eric's birthday with zero prep and one mission in mind: to run for an hour and a half straight. One thing led to another, and 11.7 miles were conquered, but not before it brought a ton of insight, lessons, and value that each were able to share on this episode. If there is anything you take away from this running analogy, "don't look at the watch."
Chris and Eric discuss their fitness journeys, stories that got them to where they are at today, and how they cultivated a strong mindset. They didn't have all the knowledge, they just started. Get out of your own head, create a goal, and get after it NOW.
Chris and Eric were no different than you men. Alcohol controlled them and was used an escape instead of taking ownership of this vice and the best versions of themselves that was being held back. In order to become sober for good, it required a focus on the journey, not the destination. As long as you stay in a temporary and short term mindset, you will not accomplish the non-negotiable lifestyle that leads to your best self.
Chris and Eric agree that there are set standards you should have before, during, and after a relationship. Most people see relationships as a solution to a void in themselves they need filled, when in reality, they just need to work on themselves more prior to searching or seeking one. Set expectations, live by those expectations and standards, and clearly communicate.
