Marly is a maternal health advocate, Attorney, wife, and mother of three beautiful children. In recognition of Black Maternal Health Week, Marly joins us to discuss the critical issue of black maternal health and share her personal journey, as well as provide valuable insights and tips on how pregnant women can reduce their chances of maternal mortality.
During our conversation, Marly and our host RP will delve into the challenges faced by Black women during pregnancy and childbirth, including the high rates of maternal mortality and morbidity. Marly will share her experiences being a pregnant mother of three and discuss the systemic factors that contribute to the disparity in maternal health outcomes for Black women.
