Tonight, we have a brand new episode of According to RP!Over the last few weeks, the community has been bombarded with details about the murders of Ahmaud Arbery and George Floyd. The police officers and vigilantes in these cases have been charged with murder, but what does that mean? Many of you are confused as to why it took so long to arrest the defendants, why the defendants are not charged with first-degree murder, and why the videos in both cases are not enough to lock the defendant’s up and throw away the key. Well, the system is complicated. So, to make it all plain, tonight, I will be joined by the fantastic Bernarda Villalona, Esq., who is a former Philadelphia prosecutor. Make sure you tune in as we discuss and answer some of your questions about the arrests, evidence, charges, and the process moving forward.
