So, this is a continuation of last week's "One Thing" episode theme. I'm letting you know how that played out, and what I did about it. I hope you enjoy this one!

Are you constantly disappointed on Mother's Day? It's like, I give you humans my life, and I just want for ONE DAY to be treated with amazing respect, dignity, a cherry red Chanel bag and a beautiful brunch at the fanciest restaurant on the beach? Ok, so is that just me?

I used to think those things, and then a few years ago I decided to treat myself the way I wanted other people to treat me, and it changed my damn life. I talk today about how I've evolved over the last 21 years as a Mama, and how I actually love having ZERO expectations on Mother's Day, because I do those things for myself already. No need to put that pressure on the humans in my life. And, that makes it all the more wonderful, because you're always surprised and delighted.

If you are a mama, I want to congratulate you on keeping those humans alive, fed and sheltered. You are a rock star and deserve to be treated that way. Just do it for yourself, and then when they see that behavior you will be delighted by how they start treating you. Happy Mother's Day!

I am so thrilled to announce that I have officially partnered up with the Powerhouse team at eXp Realty!
I’ve been a realtor for over 18 years and wasn’t looking for a new broker to partner with. In fact, I’ve been so happy as a #RealestateAgent with my broker and team, which made this decision even more difficult.
When I decided to get my license 18 years ago, I had a newborn and a three year old. Honestly, I decided to get my license so that I could help my husband sell his fixer upper houses. To save money. That was the initial idea.
Then, after another baby was born and we got really busy with all the things, I would probably sell a few houses a year. And that was fantastic because I was able to be on all the committees, drive carpool, family dinners every night, all while helping friends and clients sell or buy their dream homes. I was hooked.
Then five years ago I decided to really lean into this business called real estate. Since then, I’ve slowly learned how to do things better and more efficiently with the help of so many great mentors. You know who you are😉
And then this opportunity came out of nowhere. I didn’t know that my business could be run in this way. Profit sharing, top national team, great split, cloud based so I can work in my yoga pants when needed, opportunities to start my own national team (swoon) and weekly coaching that is better than the coaching I had to go off campus for in the last few years.
