In Joshua 6, the Israelites won the Battle of Jericho—and it’s arguably the biggest highlight of the entire book. But now in Joshua 7, they lose a battle against the much smaller city of Ai—and it’s probably the lowest point in the book. And the reason for this shocking defeat is because of the secret sin of a man named Achan. So in today’s Bible study, we’re looking at Achan’s Secret Sin and Ai’s Shocking Win.
