Not so much a piano off of our backs, as a Steinway Grand. Yesterday’s 2-1 win in the pouring rain of South Bermondsey was that cliched thing, a real Millwall performance. One made all the more dramatic for the improving form of Tom Elliott and forgotten man Shane Ferguson. Man of the Match? Lee Gregory all the way. A workhorse like no other since Jimi Abdou.

Another week, another late relinquishment of three points by the Lions. This time against Leeds, who managed to conquer their fear and do it anyway by prizing an 87th daisy cutter equaliser following Jed Wallace’s 55th minute opener.

Frustrating yes, but are we downcast? Not yet we’re not. But we are reserving rights on that if we don’t start creating more chances. Millwall’s manic last four minutes of injury time showed the way forward when we deserved better than to hit the woodwork and go very close to snatching a result.

 This is first episode of brand new show called Listed Lions after the successful pilot last season.

A poor show overall by the Lions against a 10-man Swansea City side, throwing a away a hard won lead in a final 15 minutes of unadulterated misjudgement, error and poor defending. Combine all of this with a pre-match paddywack by Jordan Archer, some in-game disagreement between Moro and the manager PLUS self-indulgent forward play by Jed Wallace and it's fair to say we have a crisis at Zampa Road.

Where will things end? The international break gives 14 days of head clearing, opinion exchanging and general sorting out before the visit of in-form Leeds for the annual Bermondsey panto. No pressure.
