Episode 8 of "A Course in Miracles for Social Justice Warriors" examines the Introduction of ACIM's Workbook for Students. It connects Plato's "Parable of the Cave" with the way A Course in Miracles repeatedly describes the human condition in terms of imprisonment and shadows. The Parable sheds light on ACIM's insistence that time, space, bodies, history, etc. are nothing but illusions.

lessons found in the "Course in Miracles" workbook; it will then reinterpret the lesson from the viewpoint of the historical Jesus whose voice The Course claims as its own; finally we’ll discuss how the insights uncovered might relate to an issue of the day such as voting rights, the refugee crisis, endless wars, or police brutality. Occasionally, I’ll invite guests as well.
