The daunting nature of falling market. Catalysts: FUD from new Covid variant, Jerome Powell and the Fed going from printing money like it's 1999 to getting more aggressive about tapering, year end selling off for tax purposes, overall market corrections/inflation. Shout outs: Sandy Munro, Chad Palantard, The Limiting Factor.
So my thesis for this episode is that Wall Street Banks might have an agenda for sandbagging $PLTR stock price (DPO listing of shares last year) with weak analysis despite the strong financials and clear moat(advantage) they have in the deep data SaaS market. This is the first show Stephen Liu co-hosted with me and we just generally discuss EV tech, can't go there without mentioning Elon Musk, some other clean energy tech issues, the recent Texas perfect storm and temporary collapse of their grid, Taiwan's economic and industrial contributions and the like. Buy a ticket and take the ride... We will go into deeper detail with specific segments of topics covered here and arrange some guests that can speak in some more depth and detail on EV, Clean energy, AI, Drone, robot tech, etc. in the near future.
Stephen Liu is a friend of mine here in Taichung, Taiwan. He has a very interesting life story and business background which in many ways parallels my own: manufacturing involving machine tools for export. Stephen also moved from his position on equipment sales to work for former customer Foxconn during their period of their and Apples steady growth together. Look forward to hearing more from Stephen and I on a new future podcast series in development where we'll focus on both environmentally & socially beneficial technologies from the East West perspective. Video cast will be up on new Youtube channel.
So the weekend after Thanksgiving a good time to reflect. i had been thinking about doing something to remember Mom since her passing on 7/2/20 of this year-declared a Covid 19 death. Mom had not been the healthiest-the picture above was at her 80th birthday party early this year. She looked pretty good, actually the best she had in a long time. Anyhow, the rest of what I want to say is in the podcast. Love you Mom-it wasn't always easy but it was always real. Wouldn't be here without you and I'll never forget that.
