Happy first of the month! Acoustic pleasure returns and for this month we are pleased to bring you 2 hours in the mix from your show host. Hour 1 builds up the groove while in the second hour things get a but more full on as we bring the show to its climax. Featuring music from Fordal, Luke Brancaccio and Gai Barone, Forty Cats and many more we hope you enjoy this very special 2 hour journey into all things progressive. This month we are pleased to welcome one of the hottest upcoming talents Gowzer. Having already gained the attention of the likes of Hernan Cattaneo Gowzer AKA Steven McGowan has been winning over many fans with his driving progressive sound and has made a significant impact on his native Glasgow as well as making the occasional international appearence.

Recently, Gowzer's hard work and unique sound have led to exciting opportunities and accomplishments. He has been signed to prominent labels such as Droid9, AH Digital, SLC-6 Saturo Sounds Label and Electric Eden Records. In addition, he has launched his own label, Tradeston Records.

Gowzer has given us an amazing guest mix which showcases his talent perfectly, as usual you host warms things up with his own tasty selection.

This show marks our landmark 100th edition and i would like to thank everyone who has supported the show over the years and also to all the guests who have appeared on the show. We couldnt have achieved this milestone without our loyal listeners and we look forward to bringing you more great music in the near future

We are always happy to have Ian on and as we approach our landmark 100th show Ian was actually our first ever guest way back when the show was extended to 2 hours. He has provided us with his usual high quality set featuring some deep summery grooves. Hi all, for this months edition of Acoustic pleasure we are pleased to welcome back our good friend Chris Sterio. Chris has provided many mixes for the show and we are delighted to have him on the show. For this months edition of Acoustic pleasure we are pleased to welcome on board the very talented Daria Fomina. Daria Fomina was born in Moscow. In her childhood she studied piano at a music school and was engaged in vocals and mathematics. Then Daria graduated from the Institute at the faculty of Law, and during this time, she continued to discover new facets and explore music, becoming more familiar with electronic music as a listener and then as a DJ and music producer. Her musical inspirations and musicians, DJs and music projects who shaped her musical taste are Robert Miles, Radiohead, Enigma, Massive Attack, André Tanneberger, Tiësto, Markus Schulz, Ferry Corsten, Armin Van Buuren, Paul Oakenfold, John Digweed, Sasha, Deep Dish, Pole Folder, Hernan Cattaneo, Nick Warren, Sébastien Léger, Guy J and others. In the beginning, she played on several radio stations and hosted several exclusive podcasts. At the moment, Daria is a resident of Frisky Radio and DI.FM Progressive Channel. Her sounds are filled with deep and melodic progressive house combined with melodic techno, tech house, deep house and adding different shades of electronic music. We are delighted to have Daria on our show and shes provided us with a deep progressive set which we know youll love.

For this months show we welcome back Latex Zebra. Latex Zebra Aka Dan Nugent has been DJing and making music for about 30 years. He is also part of the progressive house duo Last 2 standing and is the owner of Prognosis which has been releasing some quality tunes for about 2 years now. Dan has provided us with a quality mix featuring some of his own productions as well as some of his labels goodies while yours truly warms things up in the first hour with some tough house grooves. Look out for Dans latest release "Perihelion" alongside Mista Twista which is out now on Hexaganol music and look out for more stuff from Last 2 Standing coming soon

This month we welcome onboard Phil Jubb. Beginning his DJ career in 1990, Phil soon became household name in the South West, holding residencies at the 2,000 capacity Plymouth Warehouse with Cultural Vibes and later Screem. Playing across the UK throughout the 90s at venues such as Club UK (London), The Gardening Club (London), Home (Manchester), and Lakota (Bristol), to name just a few, and also in Europe, including the huge 1994 Universe Tribal Gathering event in Munich. He’s shared line ups with some of the best DJs in the World, and has warmed up for Sasha and John Digweed a number of times, most notably on the final night of their Northern Exposure album tour. Also dipping into production, he had several releases on the local Urban Collective label, as well as remixing tracks for labels such as Whoop!, Limbo and DMC. Fast forward to the present day and Phil is still delivering seamless, technical mixes of the very best in current melodic house & techno, progressive house and electronica. He plays at Cultural Vibes events, and does regular sets & live streams for the South West’s Melodic Beats label. Phil also plays abroad in Morzine, France, at après ski parties at various venues during the winter season. Having recently rebuilt and significantly expanded his home studio, Phil is again embarking on fresh own production and remix work, with new releases now coming through and many more in the pipeline.

For this months edition of Acoustic pleasure we are pleased to welcome upcoming Colombian superstars NuFects. This duo have already had releases on labels such as Sound Avenue, Movement records, Mango Alley and many more. We are pleased to welcome them onto the show and they have delivered a fantastic mix with some of of their own productions as well. Look out for them this year as they are going to be hot stuff!

Hi there and a happy new year from everyone at Acoustic pleasure. For this months show we are delighted to feature a live set. It was recorded at Crew Stories Xmas party in LA and is performed by 2 Reels main man Chris Grim. We featured an hour of the set on our Proton show and as a special new years treat we have uploaded the entire set for you! After bringing you some great music in 2023 we aim to continue that this year with highlights to come including our 100th show which is quite a milestone for a little radio show that started way back in 2016!
