Things are not easy for Robert on this episode. He tells of the struggles of crossing both the Mississippi and Ohio Rivers. Both of which have bridges without shoulders, or really, any place to walk. How will Robert cross you ask? Well, listen to find out!!

Robert is on Highway 60 in Missouri heading towards the Mississippi River. Things don't go well when Robert's cart breaks (again...) and he's forced to buy a new one. Luckily Robert meets a nice guy who works at an RV Park who's willing to drive him around to help him out.

Sadly, Jack had to sit this episode out but we wanted to make sure we released an episode this week. Luckily Robert was able to invite two friends (Jason and Josh) to chat with him about his walk. This is more a Q and A podcast rather than an episode that will further the story. But Jason asks some questions that he's been dying to have answered. Oh, and everyone is drinking so don't worry about the slurring and random noises.

Robert and Jack discuss powdered Gatorade, broken tires, cheap motels, and Golden Girls. They also take some time out to practice creating their own sound effects in case the need ever arises.

There weren't many times that Robert questioned the walk, but the day he climbed Monkey Mountains was one of those days. On the newest episode of Across America, Robert discusses one of the toughest days of walking.

Robert talks about arriving in Missouri. A new state and all new adventures. Robert stays at an RV Park where he meets a generous couple who help fix his cart. He then heads south and meets a cop who saves him from some evil unleashed dogs.

After Lincoln, Robert continues his trek through the rest of Nebraska. At one point, he finds a nice hiking trail off the beaten path: The Steamboat Trail. Robert is able to follow this trail along the Missouri River for the entire day. And when he reaches the end... He's in a new state! Welcome to Missouri!!

After Robert and Jack finish talking about movies and superheroes they get back to walk talk. Robert is still in Nebraska. He talks about the heat, what happens when he starts school, and his rest week in Lincoln.
