Rhonda Bourgeois may prefer serving behind the scenes, but her impact on the Global Methodist Church reaches around the world. In this episode of Across the Globe, Rhonda joins Mike Schafer to share how God used her professional experience, faithfulness, and willingness to serve to help build many of the systems supporting the GMC.

From clergy applications and the Atlas database to delegate management, petitions, registration, volunteers, travel, and the Convening General Conference, Rhonda’s work has helped bring structure to a rapidly growing global movement. She also reflects on learning to release control, recognizing God’s hand in the process, and creating opportunities for people with less traditional gifts to find meaningful places of service.

The Beauty of Holiness Conference has officially concluded in South Africa!

Dianne Burnett and Jason Nix recap the final day, including the continued conversations and votes on petitions, and the near-unanimous approval of the Articles of Faith.

“We landed in a place that allows us to stay true to who we are as we continue to multiply.” — Dianne Burnett

The conference concluded with history in the making: a sacred service of prayer and consecration for the Global Methodist Church’s first full-time Assembly of Bishops.

After countless conversations, and many podcast interviews, Jason leaves the Church with this encouragement:
“Walk out with the same faith you walked in with, and look for the beauty of holiness all around you.” — Jason Nix
