Smashing Chelsea and going into the international break 4th in the Premier League is crazy.  Just, crazy.  And before you ask, neither Greville or Tim were there when we last beat Chelsea at home (I had school that day).

The wonderful Darren Wynn comes into the studio with energy and perspective on how far we've come, and what a wonderful ride it's been.  We might belabor the point here at ASFB Towers, but this is all fantasy and long may it continue into the future.

A special podcast of just Tim Searls and Greville Waterman, where we look past Chelsea to the international break.  This is the beginning of the end of this first segment of the season, if you will.  So how are you feeling?

By looking back at a week that featured a draw at Bournemouth and a win at Reading, we look forward to Chelsea.  We also discuss what we've learned about who the 2026-2027 iteration of Brentford FC is.  Where have we struggled and where it has succeeded.  A fun listen!

The first two games were for deciding if all those pre-season pundit's predictions were worth a damn (hint: no).  Now that the transfer window has...say it with me...'slammed shut', the real business of Premier League football begins!

Seattle's own Keith Koster joins Tim and Greville in the studio to discuss his forty or so years of Brentford support.  We discuss the start and what the first two games might have meant, and we look forward to Sunderland next week.

This is the clean version.  A shouty, obscenity version available upon request.   :)

20 years ago today we drew with Scunthorpe in front of almost, but not quite, 4000 fans.  For any club, hammering Spurs and Birmingham City in 4 days time would be legendary.  But from where Brentford once was to who they are now is literally without precedent.  We've rubbed the right lamp, and asked for the right wish.  In truth this is the doings of a short list of heros, above all Matthew Benham and Phil Giles.  What a wonderful adventure we're on.

Michel Cowdrey is in the studio to talk with Tim and Greville about the Atlanta Fan Fest and to join in the celebrations of a great start to the season.

Spurs at home.  And we might be very good.  All things are comin' up Brentford as we approach the coming season.  We've allowed Greville Waterman and Glenn Houlihan back into the studio to discuss the start of what could be a glorious campaign.

Thanks for listening and for all the feedback, some of it even positive.  We appreciate your opinions so much.  And the offer stands:  If you'd like to come on and add your voice, please write to [email protected], and we'll get you on the podcast!

WE ARE BACK!

Across the Seas but Forever Bees returns for a 6th season, all gloriously spent in the Premier League.  What a long, strange trip it's been.

The brilliant Glenn Houlihan and Greville Waterman come in to ASFB Towers to discuss what may prove to be our most successful season yet.  Or not.  There are no easy seasons in the PL.

What a difference a year makes.  Everyone had us picked to go down last year at this time, and who could blame them.  But 2026-2027 is on paper our strongest squad ever, which coupled with the giddy good feelings around the squad suggests this could be a season for the ages.

Or not.

If you're hunting for a place in Europe, it's definitely two points dropped.  If you watched the match maybe you're wondering how we got the one.  Crazy days at the Gtech as Brentford's last home match ends with a wimper, then with a bang.

Sorting out our stumble to the finish line is Greville Waterman and Glenn Houlihan.  Absolutely a fascinating conversation about the ups and downs of a sometimes difficult spring.

We apparently have an apartment leased out for the year in 7th place, and we move back there this week with a convincing win over relegation threatened West Ham.  The end of the year is always fascinating, as little events become blown out of all proportion as the points left dimish.

Greville Waterman treks into the studio to talk about where was are and where we might be going, with a strong finish.

This is why we enjoy this great game!  Chances at both ends, a howling crowd, a match with ebbs and flows of dominance.  Sometimes in the Premier League you're quality isn't there, and you win somehow anyway.

Sometimes you play one of your best matches of the season, and get nothing.

Here to help Tim and Greville figure out a match with with more twists and turns than the Maine coastline is Abhi Goyal (he of the Red Lion Massive).  Abhi is so well informed and his opinions so smart that this will entertain and inform.

Instead of trying to unpack a dismal morning at home to Fulham, we focus on the glorious events of the latest Fan Fest.  Our correspondent in the field Michel Cowdry has come back to ASFB Towers to report on the impressive show that Brentford Football Club put on at Fan Fest.

Worth a listen this week not only for Michel's stories from Tampa but also for the outrageous picks our resident 'expert' on all thing football makes regarding next weekend's game?  Is he right??  We'll see.
