Guyviaud Joseph pronounced (giv-e-odd); is a first-generation Haitian-American born and raised in Linden, New Jersey. The Penn State graduate with a degree in Business/Marketing began his training during his undergraduate education. He performed in several theatrical productions including the role of Troy in FENCES, written by August Wilson and Antonio in Shakespeare’s TEMPEST.
After PSU he went to work as an Account Executive at CBS News for several years and decided to pursue his passion as an actor. Since the change in his career he has trained with notable acting coaches throughout the New York area; working with renowned acting coaches Lesly Kahn,, Bob Krawkower, Susan Batson, Anthony Abeson and Wynn Handman. Since his first role in a major network series in 2014 (UNFORGETTABLE - CBS), he has booked a consistent stream of roles in Film, Television, Video Games and more.

Between acting on network projects he began to create his own films. He has starred in & produced award-winning projects that screened at festivals such as CANNES Film Festival, Chelsea Film Festival, Martha’s Vineyard AAFF & more. He can be seen in the newest TV series from Tyler Perry Studios ZATIMA in the role of TONY currently streaming on BET+. He also plays the lead role in the TV ONE feature film, FIRST COMES LOVE...; set to premier in Summer 2023.
