We've talked about the first Rambo on the podcast now it’s time for the last. This week on the podcast its Rambo: Last Blood.

John Rambo's peaceful life is interrupted when Gabriela, his friend's granddaughter, disappears in Mexico. He decides to free her from the clutches of local cartels, starting a cycle of revenge.

This week on the podcast, we wrap up Spooktober in exemplary fashion. We had fans narrow down our final film on Instagram, and by popular demand, you chose the 1981 classic, The Evil Dead. 

Five friends travel to a remote cabin in the woods where they play a tape with incantations. This releases the demons which possess them in succession until only one is left fighting for survival.

Spooktober continues with one of the greatest Horror movies of all time, 1982's The Thing. 

In remote Antarctica, a group of American research scientists are disturbed at their base camp by a helicopter shooting at a sled dog. When they take in the dog, it brutally attacks both human beings and canines in the camp and they discover that the beast can assume the shape of its victims. A resourceful helicopter pilot (Kurt Russell) and the camp doctor (Richard Dysart) lead the camp crew in a desperate, gory battle against the vicious creature before it picks them all off, one by one.

We keep going with Spooktober this week with Stephen King's directorial debut, Maximum Overdrive. 

After a comet causes a radiation storm on Earth, machines come to life and turn against their makers. Holed up in a North Carolina truck stop, a group of survivors must fend for themselves against a mass of homicidal trucks. A diner cook, Bill Robinson (Emilio Estevez), emerges as the unlikely leader of the pack, attempting to find an escape plan for himself and the survivors, who include his boss, Bubba Hendershot (Pat Hingle), and a newlywed couple.

We kick off Spooktober on Action Action with 2019 Action/Horror, VFW.

A typical night for veterans at a VFW turns into an all-out battle for survival when a desperate teen runs into the bar with a bag of stolen drugs. When a gang of violent punks come looking for her, the vets use every weapon at their disposal to protect the girl and themselves from an unrelenting attack.

This week on the podcast we watch our first Brandon Lee film and check back in with Dolph Lundgren in Showdown In Little Tokyo.
