“Once saved, always saved” is the position that when a person becomes a Christian, he can never lose his salvation. The debate on this teaching has been raging within Christian circles for centuries. Many believe it is possible to lose one’s salvation, while others believe it is not. Both use the Bible to support their beliefs. So, are we secure in the work of Christ, or can His work for us be cancelled? It seems that if your salvation depends on you in any way, it can be lost. If it depends on Jesus, then it cannot be lost.
