Action Items: for ease of reference these are listed in the show notes as well. 

  1.  Take some time and write down everything that is stressing you out, no matter how small.  A few examples may include an upcoming performance review, unanswered emails, or even that you need to do an oil change on your car.  Then, circle the ones that actually do need your immediate attention.  Focus on those, and you’ll be able to do the rest during moments you feel inspired to get it done.
  2. If you ever find yourself in a stressful situation, remind yourself that a little bit of stress is good.  If you find you’re getting close to a breaking point, walk away, breathe deeply a few times and do what you need to do to reset.
  3. Music is impactful in everything we do.  Scott subscribes to a website called focusatwill.com. It’s music vetted by neuroscientists to help you with whatever you need to do.
