I have been having some great conversations with Peter over the past months after we found each other via Vivian Acquah's Amplify DEI summit, one half of the awesome Mind Takeaway Consultancy team with his wife Mira, sharing some Clubhouse stages as we explored INpowerment vs EMpowerment then I had an idea......  As a musician, would he be open to creating a theme-tune for me and my work.  He agreed.  

So first of all Peter is a husband, a coach, a musician and so much more, how often do we really take time to understand the 'whole' of people?  Interestingly for this chat, the brief evolved through Peter asking me to share some tracks / songs that are meaningful and he would do the rest.  For those that don't know I am big into my trance, dance and electric music (yes I can and do dance .... pretty well I am told ;)) with one of my favourite non-dance signature tunes being 'This Is Me' from The Greatest Showman.  Armed with these meaningful tracks and some ideas around how I might use the track once finished, that was it, Peter was off to work.

It has been wonderful getting to know Frank over the past 12 months, a newer connection for me suggested by Helen Amery.  Frank has a big heart, is super curious and big picture thinker.  

Frank is a poet, transformational coach, speaker and now an author with his book DREAM which comes out in less than a month (at the time of setting this live stream up).  Let me share some of Frank's background to whet your appetite:  "Staring financial bankruptcy in the face; I undertook a journey of self-discovery, re-evaluating my values, re-connecting to my purpose. I started studying mindfulness, psychology and neuroscience to discover how to create persistent transformation without having to constantly change things out “there”."

I was grateful to be connected to Haluk recently by my good friend Brooke Erol and after just 40 minutes of meeting one another for the first time on 22nd Dec 2021, I just knew I had to get him onto the show to explore some more!  Like myself, Haluk works within the global chemicals industry and supply chain, a critical artery to our modern life as we know yet, yet Haluk and his team are doing something VERY different, as in VERY different.  Over the past 18 months and after thousands of hours of co-creation and re-design, his or should I say their, company Latro Kimya is now a fully self-managed organisation operating with radical transparency and no hierarchy.  

As I have journeyed personally and practically into new and innovative ways to organise work and myself over the past 6 years, I have always dreamed, literally dreamed of finding and/or being part of a nature-aligned self-managed enterprise and ideally one that touches every part of humanity and O M G, here we have Haluk and the team at Latro leading the way!  This will be an absolute must-watch in the moment exploration, not just because of their self-managed approach but due to their vision, their humanity and oh, the results!  This is the case study I have been looking for, a disruptive, progressive way of bringing a fairly outdated sector in terms of mindset and leadership, one however that touches every aspect of life as we know it, up to date and relevant for the future.
