The third of the Talking Insights series features a discussion around the place based work during the COVID-19 pandemic, in Bellamy, Mansfield.  This conversation is with Melissa Morrell from Active Notts, Jill Finnessey, Head of Housing at Mansfield District Council and Lesley Watkins, Partnerships and Engagement Manager at Mansfield Community and Voluntary Service.  This episode explores and shares some of the reflections since the start of the global pandemic; 

• What was the collective response in Mansfield
• How affluence affected this response
• The challenges for authorities of working in an ever changing environment and the importance of trust and relationships in the community
• How to build trust in the most deprived communities who are really feeling the effects of the pandemic
• The balance of managing COVID 19 as a disease - its effect upon health vs managing the restrictions, fear, isolation and the effects upon health. 

The second of the Talking Insights series features a discussion around the place based work in Bellamy, Mansfield.  This conversation is with Melissa Morrell from Active Notts and David Evans, Head of Health and Communities at Mansfield District Council.  This episode explores and shares some of the learning from their work so far; what is placed based working, how qualitative insight explores the complexities of life for the most inactive, how to build trust in communities, bridging the gap between individuals, communities & services- them & us, establishing new ways of authorities working to achieve different results, collaboration through establishing a shared vision within and without and how to influence the wider system.
