In this episode Lise and Crystal chat about the parent teacher interview.  Cooper, Crystals oldest son, writes his first song, called Golden.  We play part of the song at the end of our show as well as just before the interview.

Our interview is with Ash Quenville and Carmen Burns.  They are the organizers or Glitz and Glamor a semi formal benefit for Carmens best friend Nicole Tower, who has beed diagnosed with cancer a second time.

The event takes place on Jan 26th 2013 at the Lions Gate Hall in Barrie.  Tickets are $60 for dinner and dance. There will be 5 ladies who will recieve a makeover.  These 5 ladies are cancer survivors or the spouse of a survivor. 

There will be a door prizes well as a slient auction.  Some of the silent aution items include West Jet tickets, 4 Disney World tickets, Baseball memoribilia with the certificate of autenticity. Lia Sophia  jewelry, Scente.cy products and a table a mirror that Carmen is re-finishing.

The idea came from the Networking Entrepreunial Women of Simcoe Region (N.E.W.S). A womens networking group that meet every second Monday night in the Alliston area. You could find their fan page on facebook. Be sure to check them out.
