I AM HERE TO DISPLAY THE WORKS OF GOD
Now the word of the LORD came to me, saying,
“Before I formed you in the womb I knew you,
and before you were born I consecrated you;
I appointed you a prophet to the nations.”
Then I said, “Ah, Lord GOD! Behold, I do not know how to speak, for I am only a youth.” But the LORD said to me,
“Do not say, ‘I am only a youth’;
for to all to whom I send you, you shall go,
and whatever I command you, you shall speak.
Do not be afraid of them,
for I am with you to deliver you,
Then the LORD put out his hand and touched my mouth. And the LORD said to me,
“Behold, I have put my words in your mouth.
See, I have set you this day over nations and over kingdoms,
to pluck up and to break down,
to destroy and to overthrow,
Purpose supersedes perceived youthful limitations and obstacles
Have I not commanded you? Be strong and courageous. Do not be frightened, and do not be dismayed, for the LORD your God is with you wherever you go.”
- Fear has a tendency to show up - after the word has been spoken
Youthful fear has to be replaced by faith in GodThe very perceived limitations are repurposed to display the works of God in our generation
Why are you born the way you are and we’re you are?
Jesus answered, “It was not that this man sinned, or his parents, but that the works of God might be displayed in him.
Youthful dreams cannot be sabotaged
- No weapon formed against the youth shall prosper
It might take years before the dream manifest - embrace the process- An event is a manifestation of process
An event is the climax of processLearning to wait whilst anointed - purpose is not an emergency but a journeyThe process repackages the dream for a greater purposeThe delay is designed to manifest the works of God - in the delay there is Glory
