Acts 1–3

In this episode, we step into the beginning of the Book of Acts, where the church is born and the Holy Spirit begins His mighty work.

Summary: Acts 1 opens with Jesus’ final instructions before His ascension into heaven, promising the Holy Spirit to empower His followers. The disciples, now apostles, choose Matthias to replace Judas. In Acts 2, the Holy Spirit descends at Pentecost, filling the apostles with power and boldness to preach. Peter delivers a powerful sermon, and about three thousand people are added to the church that day. Acts 3 shows the Spirit at work through the apostles as Peter and John heal a lame beggar at the temple gate, using the opportunity to proclaim that the miracle comes through Jesus Christ.
