We have some really interesting stuff happening in this chapter. Paul spends quite a bit of time in the city of Ephesus. We have the Holy Spirit. And they don’t understand the power. They’re trying to use. The name of Jesus is not a power to use for your own purposes. We also have the power of Jesus to destroy wealth. Meaning. People are willing to destroy evil wealth in order to follow Jesus they get rid of sorcery and magic and Witchcraft documents that are worth 165 years of wages. That is so much money in any realm. If you imagine that if someone works for 40 years. That’s a long long time to work anywhere. It’s a long time for any career that would be more than four careers worth of wealth, the whole entire career. They burned them. Wealth is not something that needs to be held onto for its own sake. Sometimes evil just needs to be burned down.
