  • No Dreams? No prophecy?"Closed Canon" | React to Justin Peters and others | Acts 2and42 Podcast

Many popular theologians today do not believe in modern-day Christians' ability to dream prophetically meaningful dreams or to speak prophecy.  Really it seems they believe that ALL the gifts of the spirit have ceased.

They support this belief with the idea that we have a "Closed Canon". That Jesus was and is the final word and only what its contained in the Modern Bible is the "God speaking"

We react to a video of this teaching and discuss it further.

  • Dressing Modest?! Modern Women are Conforming to the World | Acts 2and42 Podcast

MODESTY.  It seems like a foreign idea in the church today alongside the forbidden word "submission".   Our guest, Daven Caines, holds the church accountable for progressively adopting secular views and practices and leaving biblical morals and ethics.

  • Confession Your Faults To One Another | Acts2and42 Podcast

"Confess your faults one to another, and pray one for another, that ye may be healed. The effectual fervent prayer of a righteous man availeth much." - James 5:16

Confessing to each other is greatly overlooking! Sometimes out of shame and other times because we don't know if we can trust each other.

Who can you trust? Better yet, who can trust YOU with their confession?!  We should be working towards being an open door for our brothers and sisters to come to when they struggle.

  • NOT "Holier Than Thou" | We Go Through It! | Acts 2and42 Podcast

We don't want any misconceptions.  Just because we address sin frequently doesn't mean we look down on anyone, or think we are better than anyone.  We fall short and go through trials too.  And we have the same standard, if not more, for our own mistakes than we do yours.

  • The Alien Phenomenon | UFOs. Aliens, Enoch, Aleister Crowley & Occult Rituals | Acts2and42 Podcast #69

UFOs, Aliens, The Book of Enoch, Occultist like Aleister Crowley, and more have MUCH MORE in common than you might suspect!

The Church, in large, doesn't seem to have answers for these Entities and aircraft. What we hope to do in this podcast is offer some information from a few different worlds that we believe intersect.

  • Sin After Salvation with Paul Caines | Acts 2and42 Podcast #68

Minister Paul Caines joined me for this discussion about committing sins AFTER being born again.  This can be a touchy subject, and one that we cover to help our brothers and sisters…not to hurt them.  So no judgments here, just good old admonishment and encouragement coming from the Scriptures.

We hope this is able to help you or others that are having trouble sinning, and if you need to feel free to reach out to us directly for further help or prayer.
