The Georgetown Council passed a new ordinance this passed December essentially preventing the homeless from using tents in town limits.  Jim said its criminalizing homelessness, others disagree.

So this conversation was difficult because it focused heavily on the black/white racism perspective of America.  While this definitely plays a role, we really need to consider the many ways our Race is treated a priority over our belief in our God.

Almost everyone believes God is a spirit and that all humans come from one place, so lets not get too focused on skin color and earthly culture...but instead on the spirit and attributes of our Creator.

Dr. Karen Hutchins, Co-Pastor of Frontline Ministries in Dover, DE, joined us in the studio tell us about her experience leaving a christian cult and of the message in her new book "From Damaged to Destined".  Coming to the U.S. from Belize with a Catholic up-bringing, she found herself in a Christian church in California.  This turned out to be no church at all but a cult dead set on separating her from husband and children.

We had an amazing conversation which continued quite a bit even after we were off air.  She, and her associate Nicole, shared our passion for Christ, for the Scriptures and the awareness of todays christians great insufficiency when it comes to Scriptural knowledhge and walk with God.

This story was so bad we had to cover this! The video of the whole events tells a VERY different story then the one told by almost all the mainstream media.

The Real Story according to the Full Video shows the Hebrew Israelites, a Race based cult, verbal attacking Natives and saying a variety of crude vulgar foul and aggressive things to both natives and the white teens. When the white teens showed up they called them crackers, incest babies, homosexuals, and made threats against them. The only supported the natives once the native, Nathan Phillips and his company of other natives, began approaching the school kids. Nathan Phillips made no attempt to get to the Lincoln Memorial. He went directly towards the school kids, and even walked up to Nick Sandmann's. What we saw in msm was Nick Sandmann standing his ground, but make no mistake....its was Nathan Phillips and the Natives who were at fault here, as well as the Hebrew Israelites. These were adults verbally attacking minors, adults confronting minors. Why is there no outrage at this? Are we so racial biased that we no longer see good and evil? So racial biased that we no longer defend children when being threatened by adults?

It's important to know what really happened so that we start to realize how much they lie to us and keep us divided. Headlines and events with racist tones attract the most attention, and they known it. There is a massive conflict of interest here. Media companies stand to gain far more from exaggerating and lying.

Take the time to understand the whole story before rushing to judgement.

Ding Ding Ding....Round 2 of Tear The Down!

**NO ONE is advocating burning down churches or any form of violence or attack against church buildings. **

TJ said"Tear Them Down" ,referring to Church Buildings, in a previous podcast with Merlyn Brown.  Terry really wanted to know why TJ believed the buildings should be torn down. While Keith tired to moderate the discussion, eventually he ends up making several arguments against the buildings.

While the convo derailed a little to "burning down churches", the real questions that we have to ask are simple:

Did the New Testament church have, support, or build "church" buildings?

Did the money given by Christians allow for the financial maintenance of a non-residential building?

Are Church finances today going to the people, or going to the church expenses?

Can Christians exist without a non-residential building to gathering in?
