Acts2 Network Podcast

On the heels of a road trip where several of our staff and students went out to a new college town to evangelize, Pastor Manny brings us a story from the Gospels where the disciples do something similar. As believers, we are all called to be sent out to share the good news of the Gospel. It's the mission each one of us has an obligation to go on, no matter how risky it is.

This week, we look at the story in Matthew 14 where Peter (briefly) walks on water. What do we do when we have doubts in our faith? Do we give into our fears? Or can we go back to the truths that we can build our trust upon?

This week, we dive into the story of Jairus and the bleeding woman and we see how Jesus really gets to know these two drastically different yet surprisingly similar people. In their desperate situations, perhaps we can see how we too are in desperate need of a healer.
