We discuss new trailers for Scream VI (Scream 6), The Mandalorian Season 3, Avatar: The Way of Water's Global Box Office, news on a new Matt Reeves series, Alec Baldwin being taken to court over his shooting of a cinematographer on set, as well as the Oscar Nominations. 

We then discuss an article on the Video Game Adaptation Curse, and whether it is true The Last of Us is the adaptation to break it.

This week, Franco, Joe and Andrea are joined by special guest Matt Bonanno (Bis-Serjetà), who you might know as the owner of satirical news site Bis-Serjeta' to discuss a number of recently released satirical movies including: The Menu, Triangle of Sadness, White Noise and Glass Onion: A Knives Out Mystery. 

In this episode we also discuss some recent news, including new information on the future of the Matt Reeves Batman trilogy, our reactions to the Golden Globe winners, news that 'The Bear' Season 2 is getting an early summer release window, drama on Francis Ford Coppola's Megalopolis set, HBO's Velma getting absolutely savaged by critics and the controversy surrounding Hogwarts Legacy. 

This week, James, Franco and Andrea are joined by special guest Francesca, and we discuss a number of pieces of news ranging from the Andrew Callagham drama, Paul Mescal being cast in Ridley Scott's Gladiator 2, Wednesday being renewed on Netflix for a 2nd Season, Avatar passing $1.7 Billion at the Global Box Office, the first 'Gran Turismo' Footage released and Dave Bautista calling his MCU exit a 'Relief'. 

Then we discuss our most anticipated video games, shows and movies for 2023.

In this special episode we welcome our first guest Matthew Maggi on the show to talk to us about the issues there are currently in the Maltese film industry after his scathing article on the 'Times of Malta'. 

We also discuss a number of pieces of news such as Henry Cavill taking charge of the new Warhammer 40k universe on Amazon, and new trailers such as Barbie, Spider-Man: Across the Spider-Verse and Oppenheimer. 

Finally we review a number of great movies such as 'The Fabelmans', 'Nanny', 'Aftersun', 'Banshees of Inisherin' and obviously 'Avatar: The Way of Water'

This week Andrea, Franco and Joe discuss the future for DC with all the upheaval going on right now as James Gunn and Peter Safran try to work out a future for the DCU. We then have a look at some of the reactions to Avatar 2, discuss Mike Flanagan's future project (The Dark Tower) and spend some time talking about the winners of 'The Game Awards' as well as some announcements and trailers that caught our attention. 

We then review the following movies: Bones and All, Emancipation, Guillermo del Toro’s Pinocchio and Disney's Strange World.

In our very first episode of the 'Ad Lib Podcast' me, Joe and Franco discuss what inspired our love for movies, we get into the trailers and teases that came out during Comic Con Experience in Brazil with discussions on Indy 5 and The Mandalorian Season 3 amongst others, and review a number of movies including Black Panther: Wakanda Forever, The Menu, She Said and Armageddon Time.
