We then get into something the Steelers said that Crowley doesn't agree with when it comes to injuries on the offensive line. The Browns just keep on keeping on with their idiotic ways, this time Baker took an unnecessary shot at Daniel Jones and we can't help but wonder why. We actually don't really care about the rankings, but we do care about who they said is on the hot seat for the Steelers this season. Crowley tells you why it's crap that Colbert would even be thought of as anywhere near the hot seat. We also get into AB refusing to practice today when the helmets went on and instead went running into the weight room. Jason Whitlock is STILL blaming the Steelers for what's happening with AB so we take a listen to him and then get mad as hell over it. Final hour of the show starts out with the age old adage, you cant sweep a turd under the carpet. This of course is in reference to AB and how Crowley believes the Raiders could just sweep AB's craziness under the rug and play football. But as I previously alluded too, turds can't be swept under the rug, it'll get all mushy, the smell would be rancid and you'd probably have flies all over the place. Crowley then gets back to the current Steelers, specifically the defense. He's got a ton of optimism about this unit for the upcoming season, and last preseason game against the Chiefs just made him buy in to this Steeler defense. Crowley asks if he agrees that the defense looked as good as he thought, and they also agree on one particular Steeler being the best player on the field for the second consecutive week. Carter also successfully makes it through a Devlin Hodges take without breaking due to duck noises. We take a brief break from football to talk about the arrogance coming from PIrates GM Neal Huntington as he spoon fed us some of his stinkiest BS to date over the weekend. We hear sound from Mike Mayock saying they have exhausted all options with this helmet thing and AB needs to join his team now. BUT THEN we hit you over the head with Drew Rosenhaus sound saying NOT all options have been exhausted. Very confusing stuff, all centered around a player sitting out because of a helmet. What a circus act. Speaking of circus though, Crowley outlines how this is making it clear that the circus was not the Steelers but it was AB. Speaking of exhaustion though, you're sick of talking about AB apparently, so we get into some realllll football to end the hour discussing how the defense looked during Saturday's win against the Chiefs. Final hour of the day and final hour of the week gets started with Dale Lolley of DK Pittsburgh Sports stopping by to break down his final thoughts from camp as well as help preview the Chiefs game tomorrow night with Crowley. We then get back into AB a little bit as Crowley illustrates the differences between JuJu and AB as AB is currently being sued for 40K. He also reiterates the fact that he believes the Raiders deserve some criticism for getting this guy. Tomlin doesn't throw compliments out publicly often, especially when it comes to the rookies, so Crowl man tells you why you should get some blood flow going to you nether regions when Tomlin says Bush reminds him of Shazier. We've been talking so much NFL that college football is sneaking up on us! Next week is the opening week and we welcome David Hale of ESPN onto the show to discuss the national college football landscape. Final hour of the Crowley show gets started with Crowley discussing Mike Tomlin and how he feels that under the circumstances, he's the perfect guy to be head coach of these Pittsburgh Steelers. He also talks about how no other coach could of handled the AB and Lev Bell situation like he did. Mark Kaboly then hops on the show, has a luke warm feeling when he hears Old Brown Road, talks about the Steelers a little bit and then tells Crowley he'd kick his ass in a one on one blocking drill.
