You've found The Crowley Show and the start of our show marks the end of the MLB Trade Deadline! Crowley is not a fan of the Pirates deadline and screams his ass off at Neal Huntington for being a pigeon of a GM. Jason Rollison then pops on the show to give his thoughts on the deadline and what the hell happened with Vazquez and the Dodgers. Crowley then gets back into Neal Huntington and the lies he just shoveled into our mouth at his press conference today following the deadline.

Tim Benz joins the show to start the final hour of the day. Crowley throws some Pens takes by him and they discuss briefly the retirement of Chris Kunitz. They then transfer to training camp where apparently not one single Steeler has made a bad play all of camp. We then take a weird turn towards the NFC South as Crowley exclaims out of nowhere that he believes the Saints will be much worse this year. Totally random. We get back into the Pirates and their pursuit of a top prospect for Vazquez before it's the Hottest take of the day, other crap, and the three stars of the show.

Second hour of today's show starts with us finding out that AJ Green is getting surgery and will miss a good chunk of the 2019 season. Seems like good news for the Steelers right????? WRONGGG! Crowley tells you why this could end up being terrible for the Steelers down the road. College football season is right around the corner and in just about a month we'll be kicking off this shiz. Phil Steele is a college football savant and the author of his annual College Football Preview magazine. He joins our show to talk about the national landscape this season as well as how he thinks our three local teams will fare. We get away from football for a little when we start today's final hour and get into the Pens. We always love talking some hockey here on the Crowley Show and Crowley spells out to you folks out there just how tough this Metro division has gotten over this offseason. He unloads some more on the Pirates before we invite the great Ray Fitipaldo onto the program. Ray's been at camp since last Thursday so he fills us in on things he's seen including strong performances from Ola "Theres no shot I'm spelling his last name right" Adeniyi and rookie Benny Snell. Matt Williamson of Steelers nation radio is at training camp enjoying some football up close and personal. Since we aren't up in Latrobe we rely on Williamson to be our eyes and ears as he tells us what he's seen from padded practices so far. The Pirates tweeted out a thank you to Jordan Lyles for being a Pirate and that he'll forever be a part of this family. They got swept by the Mets which is just pathetic and Crowley tells you why there is no hope for them moving forward no matter what they do at the deadline. We get into JuJu's latest act of kindness at camp giving a hardcore fan some season tickets and signing his head tattoo. No you read that right, a grown man with a shaved head and a logo tattooed right on the side of that melon. What an A-hole. We also talk Polamalu getting snubbed in this years Steelers Hall of Honor and talk about the Steelers getting back to REAL Steelers football. All Steelers fans out there know exactly what I mean by that.

Final hour of the show and final hour of the week. It's been a whacky and fun show today but we have a reputation to uphold as serious stat guy sports radio so Crowley tells you how he would like to see the Steelers utilize James Conner in the offense next season. We then spend the rest of the show just beating Crowley over the head with a symphony of flub ups that he's had on the air, which in turn birthed perhaps one of the greatest flub up in show history. We laugh at this for a good bit before we welcome on and are pleased to be joined by Dave Dameshek of the NFL Network. You've found The Crowley Show and we started yesterday's show and spent all day talking about Mike Tomlin and his contract extension. Well today we find out that Kevin Colbert will NOT be getting an extension before this season, and who made this decision you may ask??? Well well well, it was GM Colbert himself that said I can wait. Crowley examines why he may do this while also lamenting that he should work as GM of the Steelers until the day he dies. Crowley gets accused of stealing stats, which I thought was public knowledge, and we welcome on Mike Decourcy to laugh about the absurdity of stealing stats and also talk about the first practice of training camp and how Mike feels about Tomlin's extension and Colbert's lack of one.
