Empower Youth Zones are all about providing thousands of young people across Greater Manchester opportunities and experiences.

Adam Farricker is the CEO and his team are behind the already successful HideOut Youth Zone in East Manchester and as of this summer, the new Salford Youth Zone.

Adam explains how the charity is helping young people by giving them something positive to do and someone trusted to talk to.

He also explains how they are partnering with businesses, which isn’t just about money, it’s about showing young people how they can get into the workplace, including media careers at MediaCity.

That’s why MediaCity has become a patron donor of Empower and will support the charity with an extensive volunteering and business support programme over the next four years as a Landsec Futures employability partner.
