June 15, 2020Zenia Strength from withinZenia shares her feel that she traces back to her early childhood. She didn’t realize how deeply she was affected by her father leaving her mother, sister and herself when she was young but now she has been able to identify the pain and fear that his absence has caused. She was able to see the direct impact it has had on her relationships. This fear of being left and abandoned has lead her on a journey inward and to a place that she has found strength in a relationship with God and Jesus. She draws strength and comfort from knowing that she has a bond that can never be taken away. Zenia shares wisdom about how to confront difficult conversations and the ability to stay quiet and not say things that make situations worse but to communicate with someone in a way where she can be heard and understood. Check out her Facebook group called Faithful Friends: https://www.facebook.com/groups/1087165691670620/...more25minPlay

June 14, 2020Saggy Sag One step at a timeSaggy Sag is up all night with stress and fear of the future. This is a fear that many people across the country I am sure also are feeling. In the first week of June 2020 more than 1.5 million Americans filed for new state unemployment which is the lowest number since the coronavirus crisis has struck our country. Saggy Sag has so ,much pride in his self reliance and drive to work and support himself that he was working 3 jobs and in a good place before the coronavirus. But now, in the snap of a finger all of those jobs are gone and he is feeling lost and unsure of what to do next. It is also difficult when we don’t have a good support network of friends or family that can be there to lend a hand or sometimes just listen to our stresses while we work through them to find a way to the places that we want to be. Sometimes the uncertainty and fear can make the reality so much worse. That is where Saggy Sag is right now. But despite this stress when I asked Saggy Sag for some advise he had such wise words — take one step at a time and you will make it through....more16minPlay
