Today, I have the honor to be joined by Mr. Shawn Shan. Mr. Shan is a computer science Ph.D. candidate at the University of Chicago. Mr. Shan is very skilled in computer science through his internship experiences at Facebook. He is also a prominent innovator which is seen in his USENIX Internet Defense Prize and his Chicago Innovation Award. Mr. Shan has been fighting against Artificial Intelligence misuse and unethical systems. Mr. Shan is the Lead of a project called Glaze. Glaze is a system that is made to protect people from artificial intelligence mimicry. 

Today, I have the honor to be joined by Mrs. Alisha McFetridge, a prominent business women working on renewable products. Mrs. McFetridge is known for her commitment to sustainability and renewability. She has worked as the Sustainability Committee Chair at the Royal Roads University and also holds an MSc in Climate ChangeThe Rainstick is a shower attachment looking to make showering more water-efficient.

Today, I am honored to be joined by Mr. Dave Segal. Mr. Segal is the founder and Chief Innovation Officer of Naqi Logix, a company recognized by TIME Magazine for creating one of the Top Inventions of 2023. Their Neural Earbuds remove physical limits for disabled people through hands-free and voice-free control. The Neural Earbuds help people with Severe Spine Injuries or other quadriplegic disabilities through Brain-Computer Interfaces.

Today, I have the honor to be joined by Mr. Kevin Hykes. Mr. Hykes is an accomplished industry leader in the medical device field, with over 30 years of experience working to bring new therapies to the market to improve the practice of healthcare. Recently, he was named CEO of the surgical-tech company Augmedics. Augmented reality is a new and upcoming technology that is able to combine technology into an interactive experience. Augmedics develops cutting-edge augmented reality technologies to improve surgical outcomes. Their Xvision headset assists surgeons in the precarious field of spine surgery.
