Do you know where Jesus came from? Do you believe in the virgin birth?

Psalm 90 is a song, a lament, to be sung by the community of Jews as a reminder of their journey from Egypt, through the wilderness, to the edge of the Jordan River, before entering the Promised Land. Do you need a reminder to set aside rebellion and disobedience in favor of embracing God’s covenant, commandments, and direction for your life?

Today is day thirty in our thirty-day journey through the Book of Deuteronomy, the final chapter of the book and the death of Moses. What have you learned from this wonderful journey through the book of Deuteronomy?

At the end of Deuteronomy chapter 31, God instructed Moses to write a song. Chapter 32 is the song Moses wrote. When God blesses you, do you have a song in your heart?

In Deuteronomy 31, we see Moses’ succession plan. Who will lead the nation of Israel into the Promised Land? Are you headed to the Promised Land?

Deuteronomy 30 concerns repentance, forgiveness, and the choice of life and death. Is it easy or hard to obey God? Have you chosen life?

Today is day twenty-five in our thirty-day journey through the Book of Deuteronomy. We will be covering Deuteronomy 29, as the covenant is renewed before the people enter the Promised Land. Do you need a second chance with God?

Today brings us to Deuteronomy 28, one of my favorite passages in all the Old Testament. It is about blessings for obedience and curses for disobedience. Are you obeying God’s Word and being blessed, or disobeying and suffering God’s curses?

In Deuteronomy 27, we will see the consequences of disobedience. God grants us freedom of choice. How are you using your freedom?
