Today, we begin the prophetic Book of Isaiah. It is the second longest book of the Bible behind Psalms. Isaiah is sixty-six chapters. Verse 1 tells us the author, the message, and the timeframe, “The vision of Isaiah the son of Amoz, which he saw concerning Judah and Jerusalem in the days of Uzziah, Jotham, Ahaz, and Hezekiah, kings of Judah.”
