  • Christ's Compassion
The sermon uses the biblical account of a leper seeking healing to illustrate Christ's profound compassion for those enslaved by sin and addiction. It emphasizes that just as Jesus touched the untouchable leper, believers are called to extend similar compassionate outreach to the broken world around them. The message highlights the immediate and complete cleansing provided through faith in Christ, contrasting human inability under the law with divine grace. By examining the leper's humility and Jesus' sovereign response, the text urges the church to embody Christ's character in their mission to reach the lost. Ultimately, it challenges listeners to surrender their lives to become instruments of hope and salvation for others.

  • Why People Drink and do Drugs
This sermon examines the biblical reasons behind alcohol and drug abuse, arguing that secular views of addiction as an incurable disease are unbiblical. The speaker identifies five primary causes for substance use: the pursuit of temporary pleasure, a lack of inner joy and peace, faulty coping mechanisms for adversity, masking trauma and pain, and living outside God's will without true salvation. Drawing from Proverbs 23 and Hebrews 11, the message warns that intoxication leads to woe, sorrow, and spiritual bondage rather than fulfillment. The preacher emphasizes that lasting freedom is found only through repentance, self-reflection, and a genuine relationship with Jesus Christ. Ultimately, the sermon calls listeners to reject the deception of drugs and alcohol in favor of the true joy and peace found in God.

  • Technology, Social Media and the Cognitive Weakening of the Mind
In the sermon titled 'Technology, Social Media and the Cognitive Weakening of the Mind,' Scott Brown discusses the detrimental effects of technology and social media on cognitive development, particularly among youth. Citing Psalm 119:37, Brown emphasizes the dangers of excessive screen time, highlighting issues such as addiction, cognitive decline, and mental health problems like depression and anxiety. He references various studies and legal actions that underscore the negative impact of smartphones and social media platforms, particularly on Gen Z. Brown warns of the 'great rewiring' of childhood, which has led to increased mental illness rates. He offers practical advice for parents, such as establishing screen time rules and encouraging real-world interactions. The sermon concludes with a call for vigilance and wisdom, urging parents to guide their children according to biblical principles.

  • Surgeon General’s Warning on the Harms of Screen Use
Bonnie Gasper is the chairman of Child Protection League. They educate the public and expose issues that harm children in our schools and in our culture. Through the years, the U.S. Surgeon General has issued various warnings and advisories. Perhaps the one we're most familiar with is the one on the use of tobacco and nicotine. The Surgeon General has also listed a warning on opioids along with addiction and substance abuse. In more recent years such as 2021, we saw a warning on youth mental health, a warning in 2023 on "Social Media and Youth Mental Health," and another warning that year on "Loneliness and Social Isolation." In 2024 there was a warning on "Parents' Mental Health and Well-Being," in 2025 it was a warning on "Alcohol and Cancer Risk," and now in 2026 a "Warning on the Harms of Screen use." In this latest report, Health Secretary Robert F Kennedy, Jr. indicated that, "...while screen use can have some benefits, the evidence of a range of risks to children's overall mental and physical health is mounting. These negative outcomes are related to harmful use, including use by children with vulnerable medical conditions, along with the ubiquity of devices and features deliberately built into many tech platforms to promote 'engagement,' a positive sounding word that, for too many young people, is a path to addiction-like behavior." This broadcast looks more specifically at the numerous facets of this topic that Kennedy pointed to . For example, Bonnie mentioned how today's modern devices promote "skimming." This motivates users not to deeper learning, but instead to rely on simply looking things up on the internet.

  • Spiritual Warfare: How to Win the Battle in Your Mind
This podcast episode explores the concept of spiritual warfare, emphasizing that true victory over life's battles begins with winning the internal war within one's mind. The speakers argue that addictions and sinful behaviors are outward manifestations of inward strongholds rooted in lies and faulty belief systems. By examining scriptures such as Ephesians 6 and Proverbs 4:23, they highlight the necessity of putting on the full armor of God to stand against the devil's schemes. The discussion stresses that transformation occurs through the renewing of the mind via biblical truth rather than mere behavioral modification. Ultimately, freedom is achieved by bringing every thought into captivity to Christ and maintaining transparency in community.

  • The Power of Forgiveness
This sermon exhorts listeners to release bitterness and extend forgiveness to those who have caused them pain, grounded in the Parable of the Unmerciful Servant from Matthew 18. The speaker argues that because God has already pardoned the insurmountable debt of human sin, believers are compelled to forgive others from the heart. Rejecting revenge is presented as a necessary step to avoid spiritual addiction to hatred and to preserve personal peace. The message emphasizes that divine love is unconditional and universal, urging unity within the church and across societal divides. Ultimately, the sermon calls for immediate repentance and reliance on the Holy Spirit to break down walls of prejudice and experience true freedom.

  • Seven Dispensations - Dominion | Pastor Jayson Hill
Tracing the dispensations from innocence into conscience, the preacher shows that the dominion God originally gave mankind in Genesis 1:26 was forfeited in the fall and usurped by the serpent. He argues from Luke 4, 2 Corinthians 4:3-4, Ephesians 2 and 2 Timothy 2 that Satan is presently the god of this world, holding the lost captive at his will and blinding their minds to the glorious gospel of Christ. Much of the message applies that truth to the moral confusion, addictions and hostility toward Christ seen in the present age, insisting this is not the kingdom age and that Christ will return with a sword to reclaim the kingdoms of the earth. The preacher then calls believers to a burdened, patient and gracious approach to the lost, since they walk in a darkness we once walked in ourselves. He closes from Colossians 1:12-13, urging the unsaved to trust Christ and be translated out of the power of darkness into the kingdom of God's dear Son.
