MA Congressman Jake Auchincloss is pointing to Democrats and how he believes they need to improve their quality-of-life violations to “save the party”, going as far as saying, “every time a customer has to ask the CVS clerk to unlock the shampoo, Democrats get less popular,”. Echoing Rep. Auchincloss’ concerns, Boston Globe opinion writer Carine Hajjar wrote a piece reporting on a shift in the Democratic Party that could scare away a big chunk of their base, working class voters.
