Today's episode is PART TWO of the ADHD series with Dr Hannah Korrel. Our last episode was a complete beginners guide to unpacking ADHD, and today we dived into the 'darker' side of ADHD and the increased risk taking behaviours that can really negative someone's life. If this is you, you are not alone!
Throughout the series, we'll explore a wide range of topics which will be split into 3 main categories:
Today's topic fits into all three categories
Content Warning: This episode may contain discussions about sensitive subjects and adult themes. Listener discretion is advised.
Dr Hannah Korrel is both a Clinical Neuropsychologist and Registered Psychologist and the one thing you will learn about her is that she LOVESSSSS the brain. During this episode, you can hear Dr Hannah's passion for all those 'quirky' brains out there but she also backs it up with insane knowledge behind her including a Masters in Clinical Neuropsychology and PhD in neuroscience from the University of Melbourne.
Due to shame and 'taboo' topics, no-one is talking about risk taking behaviours in ADHD, and this is the epiode where we are opening up and sharing the darker side of an ADHD brain.
