• In the past, I've found myself over-giving and blurring the lines between friendship and the student-teacher relationship.

• Friendship is something I take very seriously—it's a relationship that I formally acknowledge and prioritize with personal time and energy.

• But within the context of my work, I'm a teacher of self-regulation, not a therapist or a friend to most students, and that's okay.

• By setting these boundaries, I'm able to serve with integrity and protect the quality of both my professional and personal relationships.

💡 Here's the truth:

• Boundaries are essential, not just for protecting our energy but for allowing us to show up fully and authentically in our work and relationships.

• It hasn't always been easy—there's been confusion, and even pain, in learning to say no, especially when I used to be so available.

• But this evolution is necessary for me to continue serving at my highest capacity.

🌿 As I've grown:

• My clarity around what I can and cannot give has become stronger.

• I'm here to inspire, teach, and guide, but I also need space to nurture my own well-being.

• I want to be a phenomenal partner and prepare for the next phase of my life, including stepping into motherhood when the time is right.
