Becky talks about what she really wants from Early Years and how she chose to work with children. What does an Early Years lead actually do and how do we champion and put first the most important part of our work with children?
The funding aspect of the Early Years takes up so much time, is this an Early Years Lead Role?
Everyone recently has been finding it really hard to work from home with their children, we don't want Early Years to fall into this category.  We are here for the children, we teach children this is what our profession is for and that we feel, is where our skills lay!   Early Years professional training encompasses theorists, engagement in play, brain development. We help grow brains of future generations of leaders - the paperwork is needed however who should take on this role?
Would we ask a bank manager to manage whilst having children to educate around them, would we ask a hairdresser to cut hair with children playing around them?  We feel its time to stand up for what you want to do, recognise your true potential and embrace what you want to do. If Admin is your thing then that's great make it count and find the role that suits you!
