A Massachusetts-based student who knew she wanted to become a pediatric geneticist since she was 6 years old, Zyna started researching colleges in her Freshman year of high-school and her hard work paid off when she got accepted into Northeastern, the Oakland campus. Due to her rare disease she was allowed to eventually change campuses and start school in the fall at home, in Boston, on a premed track. Check out her journey!

Shan is a high-school Senior who got accepted Early Decision at Duke to soon after receive a Letter of Assurance (a guaranteed admission conditional on passing medical) from the United States Air Force Academy. Although she is excited to be studying Mechanical Engineering at Duke in the fall, the fact that she applied early meant she had to give up a long-time dream of going to the service academies.
