The approval was announced Friday, June 18. The approved appointees are; Energy Deputy Minister-designate, Andrew Kofi Egyapa Mercer, John Ntim Fordjour, the Deputy Minister-designate for Education and Deputy Minister-designate for Lands and Natural Resources, George Mireku Duker.

Topic: Some students of Wa Jamiat Islamic Girls’ Senior High School, on Monday, stormed the Wa police station to protest the arrest of some teachers in their school. The teachers were arrested for allegedly assaulting a young man who was accused of attempted rape. The man had, allegedly, tried to rape one of the girls but bolted when the victim, a student of the school, raised an alarm.

Little Dauda Abdullah is the fourth child to have gone missing in the month of May. The three others have been found murdered under cruel circumstances, but the mother of four-year-old Dauda has hope her son is still alive.
